EL2s of the Konin lignite mine railway

On September 16, 2008, together with Holger Neumann and Florian Menius, I paid a visit to the Konin lignite mine. It was a great day, largely thanks to very friendly and helpful people we meet there. Many thanks to all!

EL2-36 again. During loading, the locomotive is fed via side-mounted current collectors and remotely controlled. Loading of a ten-car draft typically takes about twenty minutes.
